This Privacy Policy explains how Natural Dynamics Oy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Ardy mobile application and related cloud services (the “Service”), which let you pair, monitor, and control your Ardy smart ventilation system. The Ardy app is developed and published on the App Store and Google Play by RIE Oy (Finnish Business ID 3240521-3) on behalf of Natural Dynamics Oy. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Data controller. The controller responsible for your personal data is Natural Dynamics Oy, Taivalmäki 5 B 50, 02200 Espoo, Finland.

When you sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your email address, display name and profile photo where the sign-in provider supplies them, and a unique account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive an Apple private-relay address instead of your real one.
Identifiers of the Ardy devices you pair with your account, the names you assign to them, and your ventilation settings and preferences.
Measurements reported by your Ardy hardware: indoor-air-quality readings (CO₂, temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds, pressure), ventilation and fan operation, airflow, flap positions, and the timestamps of those readings.
Basic technical information needed to run and troubleshoot the Service, such as app version, device/operating-system type, and diagnostic logs.
We do not use the app for advertising, and we do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data on these bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your data is stored and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure, primarily in the European Union (region europe-west1). We protect data in transit using encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and apply access controls to limit who can reach it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
We keep account and device data for as long as your account is active. Historical sensor data is retained so we can show you trends, and is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for that purpose. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with the law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing mail@naturaldynamics.fi from the address linked to your account. To exercise any right, contact mail@naturaldynamics.fi. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
The Service relies on Google Firebase / Google Cloud and Apple sign-in. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies — Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
Where your data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
